Image copyright problem with Image:Bannersteph-1-.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Bannersteph-1-.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 06:51, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Pat Kilbane
editFirst of all, the user with the IP address "64.136.173.16" originally contributed the "Password" and "Legend" information, NOT me. Secondly, I was the one who created this page with the specific idea to make it look almost identical to the other current and former MADtv performer pages. In doing so, I had specifically created a seperate chapter for "Television" and a seperate chapter for "Filmography." It was my intention to complete the research to Kilbane's television appearances, as there has been many appearances besides his time on MADtv. However, the format was combined to "Television and Movies" without any explaination or disscussion with me. So I changed it back and in doing so, 64.136.173.16's "Password" information inadvertly came back as well.
In the future, please refrain from editing the chapter format on this page without at least contacting me via the Talk/Discussion boards. Thanks

That's perfectly fine. I've just noticed that when you revert pages, you do not remove false information. If you wish to create genuine, solid MADtv articles, you have to be wary of other's vandalisms. Edit histories only show what one editor does on an edit by edit basis. Please keep in mind also that anyone can and will edit these articles, without your permission, and will not contact you when they do so. You have formatted some good looking pages, but that does not mean they are safe from edits. Remember to be civil when dealing with other editors, and please do not take offense at the advice or recommendations of editors who have been here a bit longer. I have deleted my above comments in the spirit of WP:AGF. Just make sure that if you've taken it upon yourself to improve the MADtv articles in the Wikispace, that you are prepared to both create / edit them and play janitor to them. --Avery W. Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to MADtv. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. A link to the edit I have identified as vandalism can be found here: link. If you believe this edit is not vandalism, please contact me. AmiDaniel (Talk) 01:26, 18 March 2006 (UTC) Sorry, thought you were blanking the page. AmiDaniel (Talk) 01:29, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
I'm sorry that I scared you. I assure you I am not vandalizing the MADtv Page. I've been the one cleaning it up for about a week. I'm trying to create a detailed History of MADtv page. Again I'm sorry for the shock. (Deej30 01:42, 18 March 2006 (UTC)) Deej30
Your recent edit to MADtv: Season One: 1995-1996 was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. - Hmm, is the edit no good or did you accidentally hit delete then save? Either way, if you need the page gone let me know and I'll override the bot -- Tawker 22:14, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
O.K., sorry. I accidently hit the save button. What I intended to create was "MADtv: Season One (1995-1996)" NOT "MADtv: Season One: 1995-1996. Again, sorry for my goof (Deej30) I just want everyone to know that I have updated this page by creating links for each season of MADtv as opposed to having everything clutterred on one page. I hope everyone will like it. This means that I am about to delete the old redundant pages now. (Deej30) (22:44, 4 April 2006 (UTC))
