revert back block user chudasama

Hi Doug,This is user chudasama. it is understandable thing only that admin will first support fellow admin rather making some one among them unhappy or involving in explanation task of reverting block. Easy way! I committed those mistake in year 2006 while I was new and stupid user unaware of Wikiquette WP:ETIQ. now you should have reverted block rather just reasoning memory recall as he has initiated to indefinite. Now I don’t want to keep on explaining each admin my sincere and earnest effort but will adapt same easy way, will create new similar and will satisfy me contributing in this noble wiki activities. I know now creating different id is against wiki policy but forced with little painful decision. Even now talk page is put now under non-edit mode so even can appeal or place un block template. --User:Chudasama --195.229.237.43 (talk) 05:12, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi Doug, What more things I need to explain, I will no way continue any of mistake but rather will contribute in positive manner, if you lift my block. I never had nor will harm page protection then why you all need to act so harsh--195.229.236.216 (talk) 19:17, 1 September 2010 (UTC)? I don’t want to waste precious time of all your admin then why stretching such simple matter. --User:ChudasamaReply

  • I will put devil advocacy here. It is wiser decision to keep ‘disturbing’ element away rather allowing their disturbing ‘contribution’. The talk page of user chudasama is placed under semi protection with indef ‘block’ making guy/gal silent. Frankly, this is not justified act as guy/gal can not defend nor any thing special is over there that need protection. By the way this advocacy is not to attack or sock against any but just to draw attention only. Admins ( as such rarely only!) act their privileges ( some time) erroneously but then hardly revert their decision. Does this page really need protection? Why some one not experimenting considering unblocking? Can’t guy/gal make U turn? Why some questions always remained unanswered? chudasama1(talk)--Chudasama1 (talk) 08:16, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Account creator right issued to User:Terrasidius

Hi Doug,

This is a friendly message to let you know that I have removed the account creator right that you gave to Terrasidius. This is because WP:PERM clearly states "The account creator flag is granted to users who are active in the account request process. The flag removes the limit on the maximum number of new accounts that can be created in a 24 hour period. It also allows users to make accounts with names similar to other accounts. The account creator flag is only given to users who participate in the ACC process and may be removed without notice should a user's participation in the account creation process cease."

Due to the fact that the user doesn't even currently have an account at the Account Creation Process, or that he/she is currently not hitting the 6 creations a day limit, this right shouldn't have been added to the user. This is just a notification to let you know of my actions, to ensure that you understand about the "rules" regarding the granting of this right.

Please feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you have any questions.

Have a great day!

Kind Regards,

The Helpful One 20:31, 4 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Block for no reason

Information about the block: account creation from this IP address ************* was blocked by Doug, who gave the reason 'Used for sockpuppetry less than three weeks after expiry of six month block .' What I would like to know is why you have blocked me for sockpuppetry. My information is all in order, and I do not thnk I am pretending to be another person. PLease unblock me if you find this reason legit. I need to create an account for me sister but I am unable to do so because of this block. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dmhsfan (talkcontribs) 17:43, 19 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • A few things: 1) This was not directed at you. I blocked an IP, not you or your sister, because it has historically been a source of trouble and it was again only a few weeks after another block imposed by another administrator expired. This probably had nothing to do with you, the IP is likely shared by many users. The best way to get past the IP block is to create an account. I don't normally block account creation, so I would go back and see and reconsider that aspect; however, 2) I can't even see what block this was because you didn't identify the IP, so I can't see what the issue was that caused the block. 3) But don't despair, you could probably create an account for your sister from your account, but I'll save you the trouble and do it for you; it's much easier for an admin. Just send me an e-mail with the account name and an email address and it will be done. Please check Special:ListUsers beforehand to make sure the name is not already in use and make sure your sister picks a name that is not too similar to existing names. There is a link to "e-mail this user" on the side bar to the left. 4) Please sign your posts, it makes it much easier for everyone. Thanks,--Doug.(talk contribs) 18:01, 19 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

RE: Block for no reason

OK, when I went back to account creation, Materialscientist has bloacked me for Vadalism, this is crazy, I don't know what is happening on wikipedia!! If you have some way of contacting Materialscientist, please do. As, an admin to admin talk is better than a user to admin.Dmhsfan--Dmhsfan (talk) 18:19, 19 September 2010 (UTC)19/9/2010 10:20 p.m ASTReply

    • I just looked at User:Materialscientist's logs. He or she has blocked a lot of IPs lately for vandalism, probably on a vandal patrol or working the WP:AIV page. You must have tried again as not logged in, mostly likely you have a dynamic IP address (your server/ISP provides you with one of many available IP addresses each time you log in). Often those addresses get blocked because a lot of people come to Wikipedia through such pages and without logging in wreak havoc and get the IP blocked. You are still able to log in with your registered account (or else you couldn't have posted the above). But each time you try to help your sister set up an account you find that the IP address you are attempting this from has been blocked and each time for a different reason and by a different admin because each time you're getting a different IP address assigned to you. Again, just e-mail me or the above mailing list the info and your sister will most likely have no problems logging in.--Doug.(talk contribs) 19:35, 19 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
