I hope you will consider getting a real account at some point, rather than editing as an IP. The name of this account could be confusing, since it's not an administrator and can't actually delete anything. I put a note on your user page to that effect. I would strongly urge you to change (or simply abandon, if you're determined to continue to edit as an IP). Not only is it a misleading name, it has strong "single purpose" connotations. Alai (talk) 16:16, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

You've either misunderstood the nature of my comment, or are deliberately misusing the word "threat". I suggest you review WP:USERNAME and WP:SPA if you're genuinely mystified as to the nature of my concerns. Alai (talk) 16:51, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

And it seems to me you've likewise "satisfied the requirements" for being blocked as an SPA, and having your nominations closed on that basis. Am I "encouraging" you in the right direction enough yet? Alai (talk) 16:57, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

As you said, there are both advantages and disadvantages to anonymous editing. If you wish to edit as an IP, and use this account to nominate articles for AFD, that's your prerogative.
