Draft:2020/21 NPL

afternoon. i have set up the draft for the next Northern Prem League web page. when would be the best time time move it to "active"? i know this season is over, but i guess until the day it starts... when ever that might be.. there may be changes to the teams, possibly even changes to the leagues as the NPL is considering doing smaller regional divisions if the season is shorter, so what i've set up might change.

User:GNEbandit 13:12 10 May 2020 (UTC)

@GNEbandit: Looks great, though I agree that it may not be time yet to let it go live, as it's not yet confirmed that even next season can continue. Unlike the Premier League, NPL won't continue behind closed doors as there's no TV money to earn after all. The format may also be different as you say. DelUsion23 (talk) 17:59, 10 May 2020 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of File:Super Mario Bros. Deluxe GBC cartridge.jpg

The file File:Super Mario Bros. Deluxe GBC cartridge.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

May fail WP:NFCC#8. Any image of the Game Boy Color release product unnecessary. Infobox image (of the original NES release) already suffices. Section about the specific release already understood without this image.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Swanley Furness F.C., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kent League. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hyphen-fixing on 2020–21_FA_Cup_qualifying_rounds

Sorry for stepping all over your hyphen-fixing on 2020–21_FA_Cup_qualifying_rounds. I was filling in scores at the time and not only undid a couple of your fixes but I copy-pasted the penalties template with a hyphen in it. I managed to fix it though, and I'm glad you have a script to do it as that was mildly painful! PsyMar (talk) 17:03, 3 October 2020 (UTC)

Women's Football / Soccer Update > October 2020

WP:WOSO News: October 2020

Chelsea striker Bethany England scoring the winning goal in the team's 2-1 win against Arsenal at the 2019–20 FA Women's League Cup, February 29, 2020.

Hello WOSO editors!

What a year to be alive. As usual (but perhaps even moreso since there have been unexpected quarantines), there has been a lot of activity on player, team, league and tournament-related Wikipedia articles with all of the worldwide coverage of women's football / soccer. Great work!

Fall Focus: FA WSL articles

You may have noticed lots of great things going on for the top English league this year: the FA WSL. More (international!) broadcasts, top international player signings, improved media coverage, and increased viewership. Let's keep the momentum brewing, shall we?

Here's a sampling of articles that could use creation, expansion or updating. What will you commit to working on?

Historical Topics
Managers
Teams
Players
Other

See also Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Women's football task force/Initiatives/FA WSL to collaborate and organize with other editors.

Every little bit helps! Thanks for your contributions!

Did you know...

WP:GNG takes precedence over WP:NFOOTY (which only includes the players in two currently active women's leagues)? Often times there is enough media coverage that meets WP:GNG or other notability guidelines. For more information, see WP:WOSO#Notability and be sure to tag the new article talk page with: {{WP Women's sport|footy=yes}}

Current and upcoming seasons for top-division leagues

Thank you for your continued contributions to articles related to women's football / soccer (WOSO)!
