Stegosaurus

Hi -- I saw the disagreement you're having with another editor over sources at Stegosaurus. I have a couple of bits of advice/comments that I hope will be helpful. I noticed you said "someone higher up" -- there isn't a hierarchy of editors here. You have the same standing as every other editor. What that means in practice is if another editor disagrees with your edit, and reverts you, as happened here, you should post a note on the article's talk page -- here that would be Talk:Stegosaurus. Other editors would probably join in and try to get a consensus on the best way to resolve the issue. There are other options if that ends in an impasse, but you should always try that first and see what others say -- there are many knowledgeable editors who keep an eye on that article and some of them are sure to respond. And when two different editors revert you. That means that you should stop edit warring and take it to talk. If you continue, you will be reported which could lead to you being blocked. LittleJerry (talk) 02:47, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
