Sourcing quality

We apricate your work on attempting to provide sources for biographies, but please slow down a little and carefully evaluate the references you are adding. Some of them are very clearly copies of Wikipedia articles. Sometimes these mirrors provide the correct attribution back to here, other time they do not. If you run across an exact copy of a sentence, it's either copied from here, or one of our editors plagiarized the material from that source. In either scenario, we need to fix it.

I suspect you've taking a sentence and searching for an exact copy of it somewhere. This is going to lead to a large number of mirrors. Please carefully evaluate the material - especially when you're editing high-visibility biographies like Rita Wilson or Penny Marshall.

We also need to avoid junk content scrapers like "celebsagewiki" or "alptech.cz"; these sites scrape/copy material from other sources without attribution, often again from Wikipedia. Kuru (talk) 15:09, 21 February 2021 (UTC)

I saw your draft at the new Belgian articles. Do you mind if I make some comments about the article: First of all, the article is very short, so it could use some more meat. The biggest problem is that the reviewer (and casual reader) fails to understand "Dolle Mina", so if you describe that in one or two paragraphs with plenty of references it will become much clearer. Removing duplication

Desa scholar, I see you are removing duplicated words. In the main this is because of writing mistakes and is to be commended. I assume you are using a bot. However, in a number of instances it seems that the duplication is deliberate and your edit has been reverted. In the example of Lobjan I reverted your edit based on you giving no edit summary, so it just looks like vandalism. I can see in most cases it is not vandalism, but if you leave an edit summary, and indicate if you are using a bot then your edits will be scanned as valid, rather than investigated as possible vandalism. Back to Lobjan, I was unable to check the correct wording of the poem which you edited, the target site timed out. I wonder if is still active? So, unless one of the writers of the page acknowledges a mistaken duplication, I'm afraid your edit seems invalid. Thank you for your work trying to make WP better. 	In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary!
