Regarding your recent (and apparently only) edit

edit

I noticed that you falsified the plot of Once Upon a Time in High School and that's a direct violation of Wikipedia's vandalism policy. We will not tolerate you undermining this site's reliability like that and any repeated offenses and I will report you straight to the admins and have your IP address blocked indefinitely. Don't do it again. 2604:3D09:A580:3900:7558:734B:E6FB:64D4 (talk) 17:26, 27 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello. First thing is I would like to thank you for your post on this issue and praise on how serious you took it. Information is valuable and like you, I take it seriously and do not condone vandalism of such on Wikipedia as it is a place millions to billions of people go through for information regarding anything. The second thing is that I don't mean to cause any vandalism of such myself from editing the article for the same reason. This does not mean I am apologizing for doing so as the moment you accused me of falsifying the plot of Once Upon a Time in High School, I was taken aback and find that impossible to be true. Here is my reason. In the previous version of the article, before I reverted it, the plot within the later parts of the movie states that "[u]pon returning home, [Hyun-soo's father] beats up Hyun-soo once more[,] ... forcibly kicks him out of his house, berat[es] him ..., [and] officially denouncing him as his son permanently." Soon after, Hyun-soo becomes too disillusioned with the society, "runs to the same rooftop he and Eun-joo used to hang out at and commits suicide by jumping off". When I first read this, I was shocked, but above all else, confused because I don't recall any of that happening towards the end of the movie and I have watched the movie several times over the course of a few years before reading it, unless there is another version of the movie that I am unaware of. I then re-watched the movie on an archive site and I see the plot still doesn't match up to the one I had read. Wanting to uphold the values and standards of Wikipedia, I decided to take the liberty and make changes to the article so that it is accurate. Before finalizing it, I made sure that the changes were clear and free of any false information. In the version that I watched, the movie showed the plot of the one I changed it to, before it got changed back again. If you don't believe me, here is the archive site I watched it on for you to check out: https://archive.org/details/once-upon-a-time-in-high-school. I don't know where this other plot of the movie came from, but if you would kindly send a link to direct me to this other plot, that would be really helpful. From there, we could further discuss on the accuracy of our sources. If necessary, we could even have a few admin members of Wikipedia to take a look on it. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
