Islamic Emirate of Albania
editDo you have any sources for such an article, I can find no evidence that such a state ever existed. --Fredrick day 22:15, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Yes. Sources are in Albanian textbooks, such as 'Anes Lumejve' Skender Jasa etc.. Look here as well and help me to put the flags of the emirate online. http://www.geocities.com/olsi.rm/Pergjigja.htm
Can u help?
I'm afraid I don't speak that language but I will get wikipedia editors who do to check it over. --Fredrick day 22:26, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Do you have experts on Albania? Many Albanians like to hide the history of the Islamic Emirate. If you can upload in this page the picture of the main commander of the Islamic Revolution: Haji Qamil: http://www.geocities.com/olsi.rm/Pergjigja_files/image005.jpg
- I was unable to find any reference to Haxhi Qamili and an "Islamic Emirate of Albania". It seems that he and the Mufti of Tirana were leaders of the "Union of Krujë". Please comment at Talk:Islamic Emirate of Albania. Thanks, Angus McLellan (Talk) 23:07, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
No. Do not put it Union of Kruje. Let him how I put it. He was the fieldcommander of the Islamic Emirate of Albania 1914 - 1915. Union of Kruja was one of the many 'besa' - oaths that Albanian Muslims undertook to remain loyal to the Ottomans.
Can you provide any english language sources that make reference to it as the Islamic Emirate of Albania ? --Fredrick day 23:11, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
No. Only my Phd thesis will be the only coming source as far I know. Our communist historiography was too much ashamed to accept this fact. In English I am not much aware. There are some mentionings in books on history of Albania - but superficially as far as I am aware.
I'm afraid we have a problem then - your PhD thesis is what we call Original research WP:OR and is not an acceptable basis for an article. Oh and please sign your posts with --~~~~ --Fredrick day 23:21, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Most of the articles in Wikipedia are coming from sources that are not authoritative. I see on the section on Albania, you have so many errors and mistakes. However on the Islamic Emirate you have even online published articles and its references should be enough for you as well - http://www.geocities.com/olsi.rm/Pergjigja.htm . are they not?
Please sign your posts as instructed. I cannot read that language and I'm not sure how it helps with an english language source that supports this claim? Above you have already suggested you came up with this name - is this not correct? --Fredrick day 23:29, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
What did I suggest above? Sorry! I do not understand very well how you use this system. The Islamic Emirate is part of Albania's history. If it is scary, than do as you choose. Important is that you guys offer an open enciclopedia for everything. Good night for today.

License tagging for Image:Ethembey.JPG
editThanks for uploading Image:Ethembey.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

sign your posts
editHi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --Fredrick day 15:25, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

editThanks for uploading Image:Varferi.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:26, 30 August 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jusjih 16:26, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
