Welcome

edit

Hello Devourcomm and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions have been opposed by other editors. For more information on this, see our verifiability requirements, the manual of style and the limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Again, welcome! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:25, 30 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi Devourcomm! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia — it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. —J. M. (talk) 19:21, 3 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, you may be blocked from editing. —J. M. (talk) 19:21, 3 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Devourcomm, calorie counts are not meaningful for prepared foods, because there is too much variation in recipes. --Macrakis (talk) 20:54, 3 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thanks for your contributions to foods! Some of your edits are helpful, but it may be a good idea to slow down and spend more time on each edit. Accuracy/applicability is a bit hit-or-miss currently, and many edits are unsourced, and some are not correct. ProcrasinatingReader (talk) 21:42, 3 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Stop marking major edits as minor

edit

Again, please do not mark your edits as minor. Marking major edits as minor is considered poor etiquette on Wikipedia. If you continue marking your questionable unsourced edits as minor, you will be blocked from editing.—J. M. (talk) 21:59, 3 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. As asked above, please discuss your changes on Talk:Pizza after they've been reverted to discuss them. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 22:13, 3 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Last warning

edit

OK, so this is your last chance. Please stop:

  1. marking your edits as minor
  2. making unsourced questionable disruptive edits
  3. ignoring everything everyone is telling you on this talk page

If you do any of the above again, you will be blocked from editing.—J. M. (talk) 22:34, 3 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Let's please shut this account down sooner rather than later. The questionable, disruptive edits continue. --Macrakis (talk) 23:56, 3 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
