Wikipedia policy is that on articles specifically about the US, we use imperial measurements, and on articles specifically about things that have nothing to do with the US, we use metric. And for things that are neither, we use the original intent of the first editor. Changing these things, especially without an edit summary, is not kosher. --Golbez 21:23, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh, absolutely - whenever imperial measurements are given, metric should always be given in parentheses. However, they should not be replaced or switched in order where not appropriate. --Golbez 00:17, 11 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
