Reasoning behind removals on Andrea Muizelaar article?

edit

Hi Coltonblue... just curious what prompted the removals you made to the article on Andrea Muizelaar. For example, that she was a cashier at a dollar store to me is a notable fact. If she was a cashier at a haute couture store, it would have been less notable. I am a Wikipedia novice though, so I may be missing a whole train of thought that you were following. DeweyQ 02:17, 22 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

The article does still note that before winning she was a cashier, but it is unnecessarily specific to list which chain in particular and sort of irrelevant. The part about her clothing coming from Goodwill is also sort of irrelevant to the article.--Coltonblue 02:59, 23 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for fixing that. I copied the example from Wikipedia:WikiProject Geographical coordinates to see how to use type:, and forgot to remove it . - BanyanTree 02:09, 31 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Article System Requirements: Review request

edit

Hi! I noticed your comment on talk page of System Requirements. I also stumbled upon the article and saw that it needed improvement. I have considerably expanded the article over last few days. Please review it, if you have time, and let me know on my talk page if you feel it can be improved further. Some more work is needed and I'll mention them on the article discussion page. The original version you visited is here. Mahalo! --Vikas Kumar Ojha Talk to me! 20:44, 12 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your note! I didn't take the sections and headings style so seriously till now, but I will from now on. I am quite new and still learning. Ill make the suggested changes right away. I'll try and pull more editors to this page, and would request you to keep it on your watchlist too. I think we should remove the Examples sub-head as well. Please update your views on the article talk page as well, so that other editors can be on the same page about planned updates. Thanks for your kind note! Your recognition of my work has given my morale a big boost. I need your help on the planned updates, up for discussion on the article talk. Please do have a look at it. Thanks again! --Vikas Kumar Ojha Talk to me! 19:03, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:MTG-New-Tap-Symbol.gif

edit

Thank you for uploading Image:MTG-New-Tap-Symbol.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion.
