Any of these topics will work, Dhechuis, although I'm not sure what you might contribute to Americanism, which mostly seems to be a page that links to related topics, like American exceptionalism, which might work better for our purposes. For either of the other topics, you may want to start by looking at the Article Talk pages to see what you could contribute. The Self-Reliance article could certainly use some substantial revision, for example, since it doesn't even include a summary of the essay. I look forward to seeing what you decide!
