Visual editor usage

edit

You may want to review your use of the visual editor to make edits by looking at the page history. Those edits have not been working properly. For example, your edits on Jaron Lanier resulted in deleting the infobox.[1]. If desired, you can turn the visual editor off in your preferences. Viriditas (talk) 20:23, 15 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, I didn't realize I accidentally deleted the infbox. I do remember removing a large amount of vertical whitespace at the top of the article which reveals itself when enabling the visual editor, this must have also deleted the infobox.

I consider this a failure of the new visual editor, because if I so easily missed my mistake, others will surely make mistakes as well. Hopefully the tool improves, in the meantime I'll stick with the old method of editing.Dideler (talk) 20:43, 15 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
