Help me!

Please help me with...

Feeling like a dolt... Trying to create a bio for a friend, have lots of info, but playing in the "sandbox" I can't even figure out how to title it with my friend's name! Is there a template somewhere I can just "plug things in," add the descriptive text in a box, and have something that looks exactly like the other articles?

  1. Ensure that you have an account and you are logged in. If you don't have an account, create one

  3. Make sure the subject is notable enough to warrant a stand-alone article
  4. Gather reliable sources to cite in the article
  5. Make sure no article on the subject exists under a different title by typing the subject into the search box and clicking 'Search'
  6. Type the page name in the search box and click 'Go'
  7. Click 'Create this page'
  8. Create the article, including all your references, making sure you adhere to the Manual of Style and our article layout guidelines
  9. Be aware that Wikipedia deletes thousands of new articles for failing to adhere to our policies and guidelines. Thanks for uploading File:Larraine Segil Press Picture.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:29, 19 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

The subject of the article provided the image, a press release image used many times elsewhere. What then is "non-free"? I really don't understand your message (e.g. "image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia" it won't be until I get this posted, "images for which a replacement could be created"? no idea what that means.) Is it just that I didn't define the image properly when I uploaded it? ````Michael
