Hello, I'm SunDawn. I noticed that in this edit to Exor (company), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 06:56, 14 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi SunDawn, yes I removed that content by mistake, since PartnerRE has been sold to Coveà I wrongly though that it would have been better to remove it but I'm glad the content have been restored since it's still a relevant part of Exor's history. Thank you for getting in touch with me about it. DigitalPhil42 (talk) 08:30, 4 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, DigitalPhil42. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page John Elkann, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Edwardx (talk) 11:00, 25 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Edwardx, I have no external relationship with the people, places or things I have written about on John Elkann's page. But I am a big fan of Elkann and his work and, since he does a lot of philantropic activities I wanted to give it more relevance on his page. Sorry if my contributions on this matter have been construed as a conflict of interest. If you have any suggestions on how to properly underline this aspect - if possible -without sounding too promotional or celebrative please feel free to share.
