Editing Wikipedia

Hi! Just a couple of important points for you as you move forward with your editing "career":

• you agreed to not edit articles where you have conflict of interest - as the Founder of Wikipedia says, those with COI should never edit the page directly, but could make suggested edits on the article talkpage
• WP:COPYRIGHT must be respected: you personally do not have the authority to grant Wikipedia use of copyrighted material from a website, even if you work for them. Such permission must be granted viaWP:OTRS by the official owner. Beware, however, by granting Wikipedia right to it, others may then edit and/or use it in ways you did not anticipate

Hi Eats Shoots an Leaves. Are you a Wiki Administrator? Thanks for the heads up. I will endeavour to put this advice in to action asap. In the mean time I am anxious to retrieve the 'copy' of my inputted text for Raoul Owens page as it took me hours to write the script. Would this be possible. Thank you. Diid Osman

Dear Bgwhite. I am a novice at all this and your condescending tone was not appreciated. I am not a programmer. All I am trying to do is get some basic info up on this driver. I have removed what little text content there is, save for the top line intro. Thank you. Regards Diid Osman

For the Flickr photo to be used, one of two things needs to happen:

1. The copyright needs to be changed on the Flickr page. It currently reads "All rights reserved". It needs to be changed to CC by-SA. See WP:CC BY-SA for more information.
2. Owens' grants permission for Wikipedia to use the photo. See Commons:COM:ET for more info.
