Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 18:58, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

editHi, Dimnumero. My name is Tamzin and I'm an administrator here. I noticed that you've been inserting references to Tejinder P. Singh into a number of articles, and that you've done so from a number of accounts: this one, TejinderPSingh, Octonian, and Fineconstant. Using multiple accounts like that is discouraged, and using Wikipedia to promote a single person's work, where you have a conflict of interest with that person, is also discouraged.
To remedy this, I have blocked your account from editing the articles you've referenced Singh in. You can still request edits to these article on their talkpages. Please do not reference Singh in other articles either; again, you should use the edit request process instead.
Because you are under a partial block on this account, that means that you should not go back to one of your previous accounts to edit. If you prefer one of the old usernames, just let me know (comment on my talk page or ping me with {{ping|Tamzin}}
on this page), and I can transfer the partial block to that account; what matters is that you edit from one and only one account.
I hope you understand. Your contributions are welcome here, if they are consistent with our policies and guidelines; it's just important that people not use Wikipedia to promote the work of someone with whom they have a conflict of interest. I hope we can move in a positive direction from here, rather than having to broaden the scope of the block, but that's not a decision I can make for you. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 18:58, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

editThis account has been blocked indefinitely as a sockpuppet that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sockpuppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 17:32, 18 July 2022 (UTC) |
