I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Qurio Pte Ltd. Thanks! Theroadislong (talk) 13:39, 30 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, Theroadislong. I've removed them from the body of the article to the external links section. Is it ok to have them in the sidebar? Also, if you don't have definitions for things like 'product formulator' or 'brand builder', is it good practice/ok to put those into the external links at the bottom? (would I want to?) I would like to add those to the Wiki database, but don't have time yet. Dinky13 (talk) 14:13, 30 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Qurio Pte Ltd (Biotech Company)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Qurio Pte Ltd (Biotech Company), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello Flux55, thank you for your message. I will be working through all your helpful guidelnes. If I add the two citations need (as highlighted), will it change the status at all?
Please bear with me as I would like to understand why it is viewed as promotional. I took a lot of care in looking at exemplars, following guidelines and watching many youtube how to videos from credible sources such as Edinburgh University, and ticked the boxes as were explained:
the information is factual, as requested.
All the articles I have cited are independent, by known independent websites and publications.
I ticked the categories boxes and received a message saying that Wikipedia is promoting (not the right word, my paraphrase) business pages.
The company is growing exponentially in profile and information is useful for both the consumer and anyone interested in the category of longevity as well.
I followed tone of voice and presentation of facts as accepted in other Wikipedia exemplars.
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated so that I may make adjustments that render the page acceptable.

That "The company is growing exponentially in profile and information is useful for both the consumer and anyone interested in the category of longevity as well." is absolutely irrelevant, Wikipedia has articles on companies that pass the criteria at WP:NCORP. Thanks, @Theroadislong. Please explain as I genuinely don't understand: How does my entry differ from Charles & Keith or Bioderma, which passes muster, but my page does not. Do I need to give more (such as Lush - or less (such as Bioderma) - information? Dinky13 (talk) 17:12, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
See: WP:WAX ''Flux55'' (talk) 21:11, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the guidance. If I rework the article according to the Good Articles guidelines, may I resubmit a new draft? Dinky13 (talk) 17:24, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
As creating a new article is the most difficult ask here, and doubly difficult when you have a conflict of interest, I would strongly suggest you spend a few months editing other article before attempting any paid editing since you are clearly not experienced enough to be charging for you services! Theroadislong (talk) 17:34, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Both Charles & Keith and Bioderma are very poor quality articles, you should base your article on a Wikipedia:Good articles. Theroadislong (talk) 17:15, 2 February 2024 (UTC)   Hello, I'm Deb. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.Deb (talk) 16:19, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
