Proposed deletion of Thy hand, O God, has guided

The article Thy hand, O God, has guided has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Insignificant reference; fails WP:NMUSIC. Note that WikiProject Christian music/Christian songs is an inactive group since 2016, and we do not have an explicit notability for Christian Hymns. (If there was, this one would still fail.) Check the other Christian Hymns in the catgoryh given. Upon examination of other Christian hymn articles, this article is bereft of hymnody, totally.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Military units and formations of the Italian Air Force

A tag has been placed on Category:Military units and formations of the Italian Air Force requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Speedy deletion nomination of John Hardman

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on John Hardman requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Hi - I just redirected Energy Systems Catapult to Catapult centres, because I can't find any evidence that the subject would be notable per the guidelines at WP:NCORP - the only reference, to Companies House, establishes that they exist, but I couldn't find any independent, secondary sources giving them depth of coverage that would satisfy WP:NCORP. If you disagree with my assessment, please feel free to revert me, but I without better sources I'll need to nominate to AfD in that case. Best GirthSummit (blether) 09:35, 19 October 2020 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology

Hello, DinosaursLoveExistence, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Alexandermcnabb, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology .

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Alexandermcnabb}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Proposed deletion of Widnes Laboratory

The article Widnes Laboratory has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

First, if it remains, it should probably be renamed ICI Widness Laboratory, as the few mentions of the place refer to it as that. Second, there are very few mentions of it. It's main and only claim to fame is the development of Halothane there in the early-mid 50s. A thought would be to add a sentence or to the Halothane article in the history section about the ICI lab, but other than that, appears to be a run of the mill lab/factory.

Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Transport and Planning moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Transport and Planning, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Crowland

I notice that you added geog stuff to this article in 2010, which I think is good faith and actually useful. However, another editor has removed much of the geog section under a belief that it sounds too much like opinion... you may or may not want to address this removal. There are supporting sources I tend to reflink to geog text which seems to avoid this problem, such as Grid Reference Finder, which is good for measuring distances, OS Get Outside, good for detailed map stuff, Open Street Map, which is very good for proving parish boundaries, and Google Maps which can often outline parish boundaries and give local amenities and services. Salient points can be linked to a particular view in Google Street View if a Commons photo can't be found... I've never found linking to GSV contentious. Acabashi (talk) 13:31, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Remote Air Sampling for Canine Olfaction

The article Remote Air Sampling for Canine Olfaction has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

he coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline nor the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies) products' subsection. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.
