Articles for deletion nomination of Rug manager pro

edit

I have nominated Rug manager pro, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rug manager pro. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

I wanted to add a personal note to the automatic message generated when an article is nominated for deletion. I understand that you are close to this product and feel that it is a significant product. While it may be significant to you, and even to the relatively small niche market that it serves, it is not notable on the global scale that Wikipedia guidelines call for. The fact that you can provide no independent sources of significant coverage (a local business guide press release about Edonia doesn't count as significant), and that no one else can find any source to bolster your article, really indicate that it does not have the notability required. I should also note that, since you are close to the product, it represents a conflict of interest for you to be creating the Wikipedia article about it.WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:06, 30 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
