I missed the bit about the HBO series. My feeling was that, as there is an article on Stetson University, and a link to Stetson in the DeLand article, that the info on the movie ought to go there-- I have added it there under "See also". We could have it in both places, but it seems unnecessary-- after all, you wouldn't put it in the Volusia County and Florida articles, would you?
Incidentally, I'd be inclined to move the HBO story there, also, leaving the other movies in the DeLand article, since they were filmed in DeLand locations outside of the college. But I'll await your response.
Cheers! -- Mwanner | Talk 17:43, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- As for whether I and/or others "monitor all posts to the site", if you mean "all posts to Wikipedia", certainly no-- I doubt anyone could. But I have my preferences set up so that every article I edit gets added to my Watchlist, which I check frequently; as, I think, most editors do. As for the DeLand and Stetson articles, I'll leave them both up to you for the time being. Let me know if you need help with anything-- there's a huge amount to learn when you get started here. Hope you decide to stick around. Happy editing! -- Mwanner | Talk 23:17, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Jupiter_lighthouse_2004.JPG
editThanks for uploading Image:Jupiter_lighthouse_2004.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:40, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Secretariat
editHi Dk, hope you are still watchlisting Secretariat (horse) the anon IP who keeps wanting to add the bit about the two guys in a horse suit has now tried to add it back at least 2 or 3 times, the last with a really snotty message, and appears to have switched to a new IP ever since I left a warning template on the initial one. Smashville has also been reverting, and after this last round, I reverted and made a substantive edit to move the film into a general section on recognition of the horse, in hopes this cuts down on the temptation to add trivia. Anyway, I don't want to get into any 3RR spats or deal with this determined individual solo, so all extra eyes will be much appreciated. ;-) Thanks! Montanabw(talk) 04:30, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
Content disputes are not vandalism
editContent disputes are not vandalism: If a user is adding biased content or you disagree with the information added, that doesn't mean the editor is vandalising. This includes violations of Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy. Corollary: 3RR rule still applies since it's not blatant vandalism. Instead of constantly reverting, discuss edits on talk pages and obtain community consensus. See resolving disputes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PPROTECTION (talk • contribs) 05:55, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
Jerry Grote
editThank you for your edit and punctuation help in the Jerry Grote article. When you have the time, I wonder if you could do the same to another article I've worked on- Kenny Roberts.Orsoni (talk) 04:50, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

editHello!
editThanks for your contributions to several Palm Beach County School articles. I was wondering if you were interested in collaborating to give some school's articles some much needed content? One example being Park Vista Community High School. I tried to do it all myself as a senior last year but burned out quickly. — BladeRikWr 23:37, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
