Hi. I've solved your concern about "too many pictures" in a roundabout way — most of the images are copyright violations and have been removed pending deletion. There were three seperate comments on this subject on the Talk:Air Canada page that were not signed. If people want to respond they have to go searching through the history.   • establish why a separate article is justify

Air Canada

I know Air Canada says so but Air Canada is very very very very very slow with updating their fleet website. 4 years after the 747 was sold to Aerolineas Argentinas they still had the 747 on the active fleet side. The Boeing site is more accurate. Anyways, the total order for the 777 is 8 777-200LR and 8 777-300ER. There is one more coming from ILFC which would be a 777-300ER but that is on hold. They put that single one plane order just to get their feet wet with ILFC. This was before the Pilots union allowed Air Canada to purchase planes from Boeing. A company the size of Air Canada doesn't lease 1 plane. The lease still stands so I will give you that about 17 planes, but it has no date of delivery. Its not determined if Air Canada would take it. You would be correct. 9 777-300ER and 8 777-200LR. The other thing is I think we should get rid of how Air Canada uses its planes. We cant narrow them down to Pacific or Atlantic and so on. Just last month an A330-300 did the Vancouver to Tokyo route. This route is almost always 767-300ER. Air Canada juggles its planes around depending on capacity or maintance issues. I agree... I had another question though: Like the 777 order, can AC switch between 787 models? I read on some websites that AC has ordered a mix of 788s and 789s, but the AC website shows orders for only 788s. So I am guessing that they can switch between the 787 models, too? My read is they can also vary the 787 mix. Obviously Boeing expects AC to decide on the mix by some specific date (unknown). The same sort of conditions apply to the Embraer order, initially, the options were a mix of 175s and 190s and it now appears to be all 190s.
I was the one who changed aircraft deployment from short/medium/long haul to regions. Regardless of which system is used there will be some grey areas. I also indicated in the AC discussion page that editors should feel free to revert. I don't have strong feelings regarding this.

My belief is it will be all 787-8. The 787-9 doesn't really fit in with the 777-200LR being there with 270 seats and all. The 787-8 will have around 220 seats and can serve many cities like Winnipeg, Edmonton and Quebec city with international destinations like Tokyo, Shanghai and Paris.--Bangabalunga 22:35, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Marcus's observation may be correct. However, we will not truly know until AC and Boeing ink the mix. The article is about what we know. AC has indicated that is a mix of 8s and 9s. Removal of galleries on Air India

During last week few attempts had been made to remove Gallery of Tata Airlines timetable covers, reason given behind this was galleries are not encyclopedic and Galleries are for wikicommons. They are not encyclopedic.

Notabley there is one more gallery present on the article i.e. Gallery of superseded liveries which was never altered.

If there is any logic and rationale (I couldn't find any in Gallery template page, help page, etc.) behind removal of the said gallery both galleries should be removed. On the contrary featured article like Flag of Belarus, Flag of Canada, Postage stamps of Ireland, etc contain Gallery (which means Galleries are accepted even in Featured Articles not to say about unfeatured ones).
