- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such unreasonable information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, and will result in your account being blocked.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. Again, welcome! —Kf4bdy talk contribs

Find a grave
editI just reverted your "find a grave" edit to Gene Roddenberry, since the link pointed to a result of "location of ashes unknown" (and was thus completely unhelpful). Perhaps you should consider this kind of thing for adding the link to articles in future. -- Scjessey (talk) 15:43, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
- The status of the information on the findagrave page shouldn't matter, the fact is that it is Roddenberry's page. Besides, the information "location of ashes unknown" in and of itself could be informative to some. But all that aside, I found that there is a second findagrave page for Roddenberry that mentions some of his ashes being launched into Earth orbit. I will put a link to this page in if there is no reasonable argument against it. Dk1965 (talk) 23:26, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- I added the other findagrave link a couple of minutes ago. Dk1965 (talk) 17:10, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
An entirely different findagrave matter
editHi. Thanks for adding the findagrave link to Natasha Richardson. I just wanted to note that an effort has been underway for a while to use only one template for the site because the two that currently are in use can't be merged due to differences in coding. We've been working to convert the remaining articles that currently use {{Find A Grave}} over to {{findagrave}}. When you happen to add that template, could you please use {{findagrave}}
? It only requires this syntax {{findagrave|34922435}} (based on Natasha Richardson), rather than the more complex {{Find A Grave|id=34922435}}. We only have about 750 more articles to changeover. Thanks so much. Wildhartlivie (talk) 15:42, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- I wasn't aware of the new template, but will be happy to use it in the future. Thanks. Dk1965 (talk) 18:54, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
