about punic

edit

hallo! there is a stub among the battles of the second punic war called "po valley raid". the subject of the article is not made clear although there is a request for expanding. i'm asking for confirmation: is it about mago barca's campaign in Liguria and Cisalpine Gaul in 205-203 BC? Dobrin 21:48, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it is supposed to be about the battle between the Romans and the army Mago, son of Hamilcar Barca, was leading. Wandalstouring 08:18, 23 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Battle of the Metaurus

edit

I left a note for you on the talk page for the article concerning your casualty figure update. A brief synopsis: basically, I'm concerned that the update includes conflicting figures which are well-sourced but conflicting nonetheless. I suspect we might be best off leaving the Carthaginian force's size "unknown" because, based on Livy and Polybius (and countless debates on the subject), we don't really have a reliable sum. I go into more detail on the talk page and would sincerely like to hear your thoughts! Ginsengbomb 23:11, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your Interests

edit

You seem to be interested in topics very similar to my own interests (Mediterranean, Punic conflicts, etc.). Let me know if you need help working on anything and I'll be sure to do the same. Ginsengbomb 23:24, 2 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Битката при Ахелой

edit

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
