Mackenzie Scott

Hi Doc, first I saw the article on Giving Pledge today: https://givingpledge.org/Pledger.aspx?id=393, and it also looks like her Amazon author page notes her husband is Dan as well: https://www.amazon.com/MacKenzie-Bezos/e/B001KCYWTC%3Fref=dbs_a_mng_rwt_scns_share. Not sure why there are no media reports, but those look accurate to me. Do you not agree? I'm searching for other references as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Corporationstation (talkcontribs) 02:13, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

Corporationstation, Thanks for flagging those. The Giving Pledge one is somewhat odd and slightly ambiguous. The Amazon one is better. Regardless, my issue was just that there should be a source cited for the proposition given that she's a pretty prominent figure and this would be a pretty significant life change. My two cents would be to wait for better sources since the two you flagged are somewhat odd and not the typical reliable, independent, third-party sources I'd personally like to see (e.g., a news outlet). Better to be slow and right than fast and wrong in my opinion. At least that's my two cents. DocFreeman24 (talk) 06:31, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
