Gameplay screenshots

Hi Doc! :) I know you do only covers but have you thought about doing Gameplay screenshots as well? The backlog for this surprisingly huge per Category:Video game articles requesting screenshots Timur9008 (talk) 15:42, 3 February 2024 (UTC)

Yeah, I've thought about branching into screenshots as well but (1) my IRL commitments have been busier than they were when I started doing covers (hence less editing generally), (2) there's no tool for uploading screenshots like there is for uploading covers, which makes the process much slower, and (3) the fair use considerations for screenshots are more complicated than they are for covers such that I'm concerned I could spend a ton of time working on the screenshots only for them to be taken down later.

All of this to say, maybe if/when my IRL commitments lighten up I'll consider doing screenshots. But right now I'm good with just doing covers and my other substantive editing :) DocFreeman24 (talk) 06:10, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
