Re: Full genome sequencing

edit

Tremendous effort :) ! LeeVJ (talk) 19:34, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

RE:response, you are welcome :) I was wandering - are you new to wikipedia? I have been tweaking some intro/tutorial/help pages recently and am interested if you read them on your way to starting this article - if so where did you get to and do you have any comments about them. Also if you are new I see the article is on the FAC list ! :) - could end being the quickest new article to FA status at this rate - but some of the FA criteria can get a little, shall we say involved, just do what you do best and don't get too bogged down by the plethora of guideines and standards, as you have seen other editors will often chip in and help fix these twiddly bits. I've been editing a couple of years now ( including the medical genetics project), am still learning, but if you need a hand or advice on anything just ask, cheers (and power to your pixels) LeeVJ (talk) 00:19, 25 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Capitalization of FGS

edit

I notice you've been adding links to full genome sequencing to various related articles, and just wanted to point that they probably shouldn't be in start case, where all words are capitalized. That is, instead of "Full Genome Sequencing", wikilinks to that article should read "full genome sequencing". Cheers, Emw2012 (talk) 02:27, 24 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Personalized medicine versus Predictive medicine

edit

Hi there. Just wanted to welcome you to Wiki (I'm a fairly new user myself). I noticed your small addition to medical genetics and it seems as though you make a distinction between personalized medicine and predictive medicine. It may be that these terms are just in flux, but in my view, personalized medicine encompasses predictive medicine. Also, I'd be interested to know what the clinical training in 'predictive medicine' is composed of and whether there is a board certification in this new specialty. Thanks! --- Medical geneticist (talk) 15:42, 24 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Merge discussion for full genome sequencing

edit

An article that you have been involved in editing, full genome sequencing , has been proposed for a merge with another article. If you are interested in the merge discussion, please participate by going here, and adding your comments on the discussion page. Thank you. Estevezj (talk) 10:48, 29 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
