Thanks!

Well, that was fun, I was stunned by how much support the RfA drew!! Thank you so much for the nomination. We made it into the top of the most successful RFAs list (or will do). I see you're taking a Wikibreak (I hope someone hasn't upset you), but as I start to learn how not to cause carnage with my new buttons, please do keep an eye on me and my log...and let me know if I can help you out. Thanks again. -Splash 13:13, 9 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for help with Courageous

Woohoo, what an interesting newbie! I left a message on his (I'm guessing male) talk page and he replied, telling me that I was an infidel and he was commanded by the Qur'an not to listen to infidels. Zora 21:11, 10 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

My RFA

Hi, thanks for voting for me in my RFA. I was really touched at how many people voted for me! --Angr/tɔk mi 22:42, 10 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

ON - Uriah

Hey, hope it's not undue stress that has led you to needing a break. If so, at least hope you're doing something enjoyable. I did hope to make another request though. Uriah is up to his typical, try to save links to ON at all costs, and is spreading the conversation over a few different articles to avoid the opposition. If you could just give your thoughts on the following Talk:After Virtue, Talk:Routing, Talk:Comparison of operating systems, Talk:ITunes, etc. You may have to check his contributions in case he tries to spread this over every article, which he seems to plan to. Thanks - Taxman Talk 19:06, September 12, 2005 (UTC)

Oh I wasn't asking you to discuss anything, just weigh in your oppose to the ridiculous repeat efforts to salvage some links to their site. I'm being careful to minimize links and direct quoting of the name in order to keep down the incentive to keep this game up. But your simply stating that you oppose there would help a lot. He'll never get the consensus he is looking for if we get a few opposes. - Taxman Talk 22:57, September 12, 2005 (UTC)

My RFA

Thank you very kindly for your support of my nomination; it means all the more because I respect your contributions and all you do for WP. I promise your trust hasn't been misplaced; I will only be slightly buzzed with power, but never drunk. ;) · Katefan0(scribble) 21:05, September 12, 2005 (UTC)

Android79's RfA

Thank you for your support on my RfA and for your kind comments. android79 22:25, September 12, 2005 (UTC)

Wow!

Great catch! Thanks for letting me know! paul klenk 03:46, 17 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

From Paul

I apologize if I got under your skin, but I think your last remarks to me - if indeed they were directed at me -- were overly harsh. I am making the best faith effort I can. Several other 3RR reports on that page (but not all) have lengthy discussions, and I saw nothing there to indicate I was breaking any rules by answering people's detailed arguments directed at me. If it was "appalling", I need to know how so, please.

Furthermore, it is not always evident that administrators have communicated something, because they seldom identify themselves. I looked up katefan0 to learn she was an admin, but I had no indication that you were an admin, or that you had communicated some sort of ruling.

I hope you realize that it is not easy to carry on a fast and furious debate with several people, all at once, who disagree with you, especially when they seem eager to overlook one person's behavior while objecting to another's.

Let's be friends, and not get angry at each other. It is unnecessary. paul klenk 07:12, 17 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. Everything you said makes sense, except this: "It is certainly not the place for you to impugn the character of an admin, one of our most respected users." I don't know who you are referring to... paul klenk 07:32, 17 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

3rr report

Hi there. Since Kate has asked me not to respond on the 3RR page, would you please help me understand - is it incorrect to say that the 5RR filed against me was invalid, on the basis of the evidence? Thank you - it's important to me that I follow the rules, and respect the community. I feel I did not violate 3RR, and never have... I appreciate your input. -- RyanFreisling @ 16:01, 17 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thank you

Hello, I thank you for your support to my adminship, and I am sure that we shall continue to interact more. --Bhadani 09:14, 18 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, McD

Thanks for the temporary protection. My, that was interesting. Now, back to work for you. Surely you have a Hum 110 paper due <g>. Zora 06:16, 19 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

I always get so hungry around here, so thanks. And it took me forever to figure out why you would think I would have something to do with Triddle. I am a little slow today. I went to his page and was looking around for a connection, but I'm pretty stupid. But yeah... maybe I should brush up on Harry Potter stuff. And don't worry about your slow response, I understand full well the need for wikibreaks sometimes. Sorry for my slow response as well, I have trouble wikiing over weekends. Cheers. --Lord Voldemort (Dark Mark) 13:29, 19 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

My RfA

Thanks for your support on my RfA. The old RfA cliche strikes again. After being here a year and a half I had a feeling I'd get a couple of those in the voting. After seeing "I thought he was one already" a few hundred times in various RFAs I wondered "doesn't anyone ever check? It's not difficult; there's a list!" Then I realized I don't either, and I make similar assumptions. Take care. -R. fiend 17:38, 21 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Cliché

I'd completely forgotten about making that!
My spelling is never great, but on this occasion its a frequent typo I make (doubling the wrong letter), but normally I spot it. I really ought to register user:Thrydullf and explain it there! Thank you for the compliments, it is always nice to feel appreciated and the respect is mutual. Thryduulf 09:57, 22 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks!

Aww, you're going to make me feel all warm and fuzzy or something; delighted to sign it. And no, you're hardly a fad; more of a classic... especially if you too think Voting is Evil. :-) You're another whose edits I usually read and think "hey, that was good, who said that?" (I'm terribly sorry I missed your RfA, by the way: I go on vacation and see what happens!) And yeah, just one interaction with the Soda Vandal.. no contact after I answered him. Weird—not that I'm complaining... Mindspillage (spill yours?) 18:59, 23 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Just to say thanks for supporting my RfA. Please let me know if you see me screw up anytime. --Doc (?) 19:13, 24 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

My RfA

Dmcdevit-- Thank you for your kind words concerning my RfA, and thanks for your support. Right now, it doesn't look so good, but that's okay. I'll just keep up the good work and who knows, I make make admin someday in the far future. --Lord Voldemort (Dark Mark) 16:00, 28 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

==Who's RfA== Thank you for supporting my masters RfA. He appreciates your support and comments and looks forward to better serving Wikipedia the best he can. Of course I will be doing all of the real work. He would have responded to you directly, but he is currently out of town, and wanted to thank you asap. Thanks again. --Who's mop?¿? 20:42, 30 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your support

Thank you very much for your support on my nomination for adminship. Now that I have been made an admin, I will do my best to live up to the truest you and the community have placed in me. If you ever see my doing something you think is incorrect or questionable, or does not live up to the standards that should be expected of an admin, please let me know.
