As discussed, your newly created article has been nominated to appear in the DYK section on the main page. The nomination details are at template:Did you know nominations/Miriam T. Griffin. You are not required to do anything but are free to comment or make suggestions. I have to review another similar entry as a quid pro quo entry fee. We will then have to await a review of this entry. That might take days or weeks so you will be notified as and when the article appears on the main page. Andrew D. (talk) 16:41, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
Photo for Miriam Griffin
editThe Illustration Wikipedia brochure will give you an introduction to WikiCommons and how to add photos. If you upload the photo and you are not the copyright holder (it is also likely the copyright holder is NOT the subject of the photograph) - the copyright holder needs to provide permission by email to distribute the file under a free license through a OTRS process. Thank you, Kelly! This is really helpful. It looks like I'll have to get back to her and clarify who took the picture - almost certainly a relative or someone at this school visit, so it should be possible for us to at least ask (and hopefully get) permission. DonPantalone (talk) 14:40, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
Fingers crossed! Let me know how it goes. Eartha78 (talk) 23:46, 8 February 2017 (UTC)

- It's good to see your continuing work on this. Note that the DYK process was stuck on the requirement for a citation for the section about her personal life. I have added an update to get it back on track. The articles for Amy Richlin and Beryl Rawson have appeared on the main page already and got thousands of readers. I'll provide more updates on the event page while activity continues. Andrew D. (talk) 20:57, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
DYK for Miriam T. Griffin
editOn 22 March 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Miriam T. Griffin, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Miriam T. Griffin. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Miriam T. Griffin), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Hi, I notice that on WorldCat, the National Library of Australia, and several of her book covers ([1], [2]), she has a hyphen in her name: Annie Nicolette Zadoks-Josephus Jitta. Should we move the page to this hyphenated spelling? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 18:29, 2 October 2017 (UTC)

Invitation to participate in study
editHello,
I am E. Whittaker, I am working with Wikimedia’s Scoring Team to create a labeled dataset, and potentially a tool, to help editors deal with incivility when they encounter it on talk pages. A full write-up of the study can be found here: m:Research:Civil_Behavior_Interviews. We are currently recruiting editors to be interviewed about their experiences with incivility on talk pages. Would you be interested in being interviewed? I am contacting you because of your involvement in Wikipedia’s Women in Red project. The interviews should take ~1 hour, and will be conducted over BlueJeans (which does allow interviews to be recorded). If, so, please email me at ewhit@umich.edu in order to schedule an interview.
Thank you Ewitch51 (talk) 18:59, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
