I believe the article should have some form of map at least linked for it to pass GA. If you can add an external link to google maps showing the route temporarily until you can get the KML ones I'll pass them. I really think though it should be compulsory for all road articles on wikipedia to have a consistent route map. It should be easier and anybody able to make them.♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:18, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

KMLs
editJust a suggestion, but since the {{Attached KML}} template generates links to external websites, it really belongs in the External links section, not in the See also section. Also, you might want to add |display=inline, title
to the transclusions to add the links up in the title area; the reason that they don't appear as the default is to avoid conflicts with {{coord}}. Imzadi 1979 → 09:43, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

Names inside infobox
editHey. How come New Jersey Route 42, U.S. Route 30 in New Jersey, and several other pages contain local names inside the infobox but New Jersey Route 168 cannot? That's a bit contradictory. Tinton5 (talk) 23:00, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Does that highway have a single alternate name? If not, we don't list any. Imzadi 1979 → 23:10, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- NJ Route 42 has 2 names inside there, like NJ 168 did. So, I don't get it. Consistency people! Tinton5 (talk) 23:26, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- The two names have been removed from the NJ 42 infobox. Dough4872 23:35, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker)(edit conflict) Let me rephrase slightly, is the totality of the highway named? For instance, all of M-6 is both the Paul B. Henry Freeway and the South Beltline Freeway, so both names are listed. I-75 has separate segments named the Detroit–Toledo Freeway, Fisher Freeway, Chrysler Freeway, American Legion Freeway, G. Mennon Williams Freeway and Prentis M. Brown Freeway, for six names, none of which then belong in the infobox. Now, if a third alternate name were applied to the totality of M-6, I'd drop them all from the infobox. Imzadi 1979 → 23:38, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of PR 117
editI noticed you had posted a deletion proposal on Webster PR 117, which kind of surprised me. PR 117 is no different than other parish roads that I've created, basically a project to create articles for every single road that an Interstate intersects in Louisiana, with the exception of city streets. PR 117 is signed, so it seemed appropriate to create a page. Let me know what I need to add to make it important! 'Mcdonaat → 02:16, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

K-267
editI have caught attention of your recent edit to K-267 (Kansas Highway). Where did you get the .837 mile long length. According to google street view, heading eastbound on Old US 24 in Kanorado, it says that K-267 only goes toward the interstate. Also the road north of Old US 24 is gravel, not asphalt. Please reply here telling me where the source is from. Thanks! Brycecordry (talk) 21:56, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
Reply: This lists the length at 0.837 miles. Dough4872 23:12, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
What browser do you use? On my computer it is a blank screen. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brycecordry (talk • contribs) 20:50, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
- I was able to view it in Firefox. Dough4872 21:40, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
It is still a blank screen. Go to google Street View, east of Kanorado, facing east on Old US 24. You will see that K-267 is just pointing towards the interstate, which is half a mile south. You will also see that the route north of Old 24 is gravel, which I think is county maintained. Thanks Brycecordry (talk) 02:49, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) The page is a query system, so there is no permanent link to a webpage with info. Go to http://www.ksdot.org/matreslab/pmis/query.asp, type 267 in the route number field and then click on Sherman County on the map. Chris857 (talk) 02:55, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
- The part north of Old US 24 could possibly be unsigned. In addition, not all state highways have to be paved. Dough4872 15:05, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

Deletion review of AfD that you participated in
editAs you participated a few days ago in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Flat Bastion Road, I thought you might wish to know that the result of that discussion (to keep the article) is being challenged in a deletion review. If you have any views on this (i.e. whether to endorse the result, overturn it or something else) then please feel free to comment at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2012 October 2. Hi, following the good article review, I have passed this article, but am unsure which geographical section to add it to on Wikipedia:Good_articles/Engineering_and_technology#Transport. Can you help please? Well done and thanks for the prompt responses. Bob1960evens (talk) 22:13, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 20
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited U.S. Route 1 in Florida, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Address (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
