Chandra Manning
editThanks for starting the article on Chandra Manning. Here's two things to note:
- Most historians don't have their journal articles itemized. Just sentence or two on which journals where their articles have appeared.
- Dr. Manning's website is considered a self-published source. I'd suggest looking at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Verifiability#Self-published_sources

Your DYK nomination of "My Belgian Rose"
editWelcome to DYK! Thank you for submitting your nomination. However, DYK rules require a new article to be at least 1500 prose characters. "My Belgian Rose" is currently 1329. Can you expand it to 1500? After you've done so, a reviewer will be along eventually, but please be patient; it can take a while. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 21:45, 6 October 2014 (UTC)
DYK for My Belgian Rose
editOn 13 November 2014, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article My Belgian Rose, which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the "War Edition" of the sheet music for "My Belgian Rose" was physically smaller in order to conserve paper for World War I? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/My Belgian Rose. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |
