Victory93 & "The Movie"

edit

He's turned up and reverted. I've reverted and warned accordingly, but he's followed by undoing my edit. It's pretty much an open and shut case, now. --Mark H Wilkinson (t, c) 09:43, 15 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I noticed the block (his user space is on my watchlist). The funny thing is, in all the fuss over his stubbornness on this very minor issue, I almost missed a new article he'd started, List of Time Lords (Doctor Who), which duplicates material at Time Lord. Victory93 has a lot to learn. --Mark H Wilkinson (t, c) 11:24, 15 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Edit summaries

edit

Please make more liberal use of edit summaries - try to summarize what your edit is in a few words in the edit summary each time. 199.125.109.35 18:13, 15 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

And your remark would seem to be a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Your edit history doesn't show all that much in the edit summaries. Dr.Who 18:17, 15 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Actually I almost never use edit summaries for talk pages, because to me that seems redundant. However if you check my edits for articles you will find that I almost always use edit summaries. The reason I brought it up is I was doing recent edit patrolling and noted that you rarely used edit summaries, and it makes patrolling harder because I have to click on every one of your edits instead of saying ok that was probably reasonable. For example, your last edit "continuous optimization" would not have even been clicked on if you had used "spelling" as an edit summary, or even if you had marked it as a minor edit. Recent edit patrolling on talk pages is seldom needed. Since I am an IP user I don't get to mark my edits minor, so I often use "m" as the edit summary, and before you even ask, no I do not have any interest in registering a username. Besides, all the good ones, like yours, are already taken. 199.125.109.35 19:06, 15 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Doctor Who story chronology

edit

Alright< I'll stop changing Doctor Who to the Movie though I'll put in brackets the movie next to it. Also there are some other monsters and villains I would like to add. Victory93 20/8/07 —The preceding signed but undated comment was added at 01:35, August 20, 2007 (UTC).

Regarding the above: discussion is now properly underway. You apparently didn't complete all necessary steps in the nomination (you needed to edit the day's log as per step III). --Mark H Wilkinson (t, c) 15:27, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest

edit

You clearly have a conflict of interest when editing the TARDIS. As stated in The Doctor's Wife, the TARDIS clearly loves you. Both of you have been together for hundreds of years. Maybe write about something you are not familiar with... The U.S. Congress, no, somebody from Galifrey couldn't even understand those idiots. The Titanic, no, you saved it in Voyage of the Damned (hey that was the cruise I took on my honeymoon). I can't think of anything. How about arranging it so I can meet Amy Pond and I'll look the other way. Bgwhite (talk) 23:50, 16 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
