Dr. Alan Sieve
Hi there
editI know it may seem I'm picking on you, but your article just doesn't seem to be true. As I posted, a search for "Doctor/dr alan sieve" turns up no results on google, as do '"dr sieve" fortean' or '"alan sieve" cryptozoology'. If you want your article to survive on Wikipedia, you're going to have to provide some 3rd-party references. I hope that you are able to provide said references, because cryptozoology is a very interesting subject, and something we need an expert for on Wikipedia. Thanks, happy editing. porges 08:35, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
RE: Jamees Snider
editYes, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is not real, but the impact that the concept has had on the community is quite large, which is why it warrants an article. I can't even get Google to turn up any results about the boxipuss, which is what makes me doubt the existence of it even as a myth. porges 08:54, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Re: Porges
editThe Boxipuss has been a Malaysian myth for centuries and has only recently been brought to our attention because of the discovery of the fossil, that is believed to match the description of the Boxipuss. This following book also mentions the Boxipuss: A Gap in Nature : Discovering the World's Extinct Animals (Hardcover) by Tim Flannery, Peter Schouten (Illustrator)
