- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, Schminnte (talk • contribs) 17:45, 11 August 2023 (UTC)

editHello there! Something I like to do is review the queue of requested edits, and I saw that you resolved a request submitted at Talk:Arkansas. I'd like to bestow upon you a kitten for helping others!
If you ever run into another edit request and wish to fulfill it, one thing to help out editors that like to review requested edits is to add the parameter answered=yes
to the edit request template. I've gone ahead and done this for you. This parameter applies to all of the protection-specific templates (e.g {{Edit semi-protected}}, {{Edit extended-protected}}, etc), and it serves to remove the request from the queue. A fantastic script that streamlines this process with a slick graphical interface is the Edit Request Tool by Terasail.
I appreciate you being here on Wikipedia, and happy editing! —Sirdog (talk) 02:08, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
