Please do not let your bot add interlanguage links in user space. Some people, like me, don't want their user pages in different languages interlinked in order to discourage cross-wiki vandalism. - dcljr (talk) 07:17, 23 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

There is already an SV interwiki link yet you add another one (that isn't correct). Can this be fixed? User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 06:45, 12 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

French name of EITI

edit

The correct name of the EITI in French is L'Initiative pour la Transparence, see [1]. Your bot keeps changed it too the French name of Publish What you Pay, which is another organisation. Tunold (talk) 12:42, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Interwiki problems with Tour de France 2009 subsidiary articles

edit

Several bots, including this, have added the list of teams and riders as equivalent pages to the list of stages in the Spanish and Portuguese wikis, and, correspondingly, have added those Iberian lists of stages as equivalent to the team & Rider listings in English and various other wikis.

The team list articles involved are:

while the mis-linked stage articles are

There is no one article that the Spanish and Portuguese articles here ought to be linked to in en.wiki: there are separate articles for stages 1-11 and 12-21 for reasons of article length. I don't know about the others. There is a Spanish participants page, I haven't been able to find a Portuguese one.

I had removed a lot of the links manually in the past, but they re-appeared robotically: can whatever the Bots pick up as the link between these mismatched articles be de-linked. Thanks. Kevin McE (talk) 09:06, 24 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
