Vin cuit

Categories and portals

Hi DragonComander

I see that you have been engaged in developing draft articles on several cuisine-related topics. It seems that you are adding to the daft pages in a series of edits.

That's a good way of developing a draft.

However, one part of this is not good. Every tine you do so, you have been overwriting the portal links and categories which have been corrected by other editors.

The two issues are that:

1. Draft pages should not be categorised. (see WP:DRAFTNOCAT)
   So other editors, including me, convert the categories on draft pages to links, e.g. in this edit[1] to Draft:Mediterranean Provence cuisine. However, every time this is fixed, you overwrite the fix.
2. Portals should be inked to only if they exist, and links to non-existent portals cause the page to be categorised in cleanup categories. In the case of Draft:Mediterranean Provence cuisine, you have been adding {{Portal bar|Bouches-du-Rhône|Var|Provence|cuisine française}}, which tries to link to 4 non-existent portals: Portal:Bouches-du-Rhône, Portal:Var, Portal:Provence, Portal:cuisine française. I have been correcting this, but every time I do so, you overwrite the fix.

On Draft:Mediterranean Provence cuisine, I count at least 7 times when you have overwritten the fixes: [2], [3] , [4], [5], [6], [7], [8].

Similar issues have happened with several other draft pages, e.g. Draft:Burgundy cuisine.

I am sure you did not intend to cause problems ... but now that you are aware, please can you try to avoid this in future?
