Fallout 3
editJust posting this here since the whole conversation seemed to be getting forum-ish; better to carry it on here than get stuck with a "Article talk pages are intended for the editing of the article, not idle conversation" message.
Moving on, I know what you mean, there's this huge story and so far all we know is that the player is looking for his father. My guess is that it will take a while to fill out the plot section due to the sheer size of the game. I know I'll be buying the guidebook not just for the game, but so I can expand the article storywise. It may spoil the experience, but I'm not the kind of person who likes surprises; I prefer knowing what's ahead and planning around it. I wonder if you can go into the White House; I don't think I've seen it in any of the screens or read about it anywhere. Maybe that's where the Enclave is holed up, since the BoS got the Pentagon. Anyway, I hope this game is as good as it appears, I just bought a 360 so I could play it ($320 down the drain, if the game turns out bad or even just average I'll lay siege to Bethesda). -- Comandante {Talk} 17:01, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info Comandante! I'm still conflicted on Fallout 3. It's the next game from the team that made The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. But even if the certain team with a great game makes another unrelated game with a similar style, I'm not sure if I'd get it. For example I'd play Chrono Cross but I'm not sure about Xenogears, which is by the same team. Also, I will play Final Fantasy Versus XIII but I don't like the Kingdom Hearts series. But Fallout 3 may be similar enough to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, I'll think about it! By the way I got the game in the mail today. It's the pc collectors edition version! :-) Dragonblades (talk) 08:15, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
