WikiProject: Computer & video games
editHey, Drake, thanks for joining the Computer & video games project. Unfortunately, things have been stagnant for a while at the project. It looks like things fell apart when we tried to come up with a standard template for all video & computer games (looky here or discuss here). Everyone stopped responding as I experiemented with different designs. The tricky part was getting system requirements for all different systems. But, that is only an issue for classic games that were releaed for multiple home computers (such as the Apple II and C64), but for modern games that are only released on the PC or Mac, we can use something like Template 8 (take a look at the links to see it). If the game is released for multiple video game consoles, that's not a problem since all consoles have the same hardware and thus no special requirements. I'd like your input on the templates and, if you want any changes, we can work on one we are both happy with. Of course, there is no obligation on your part, I just wanted some input so we can move the template forward. Thanks! — Frecklefoot | Talk 19:28, Aug 5, 2004 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Shock Troopers Gameplay Screenshot.png
editThanks for uploading or contributing to File:Shock Troopers Gameplay Screenshot.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 00:15, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
