Azendohsaurus skull
editI appreciate your work on archosauromorphs recently, and as a gift I present to you this diagram of the skull of Azendohsaurus madagaskarensis, which I edited from Ezcurra (2016). I'd be happy to edit other Azendohsaurus imagery from the study if you want, as I know you're currently working on expanding the article for this genus. Fanboyphilosopher (talk) 19:40, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you very much! I appreciate the offer, and so if you ever edit any other suitable images just shoot them my way. DrawingDinosaurs (talk) 14:24, 21 May 2018 (UTC)

editThank you for your contribution onto this page. When uploading an image to the taxobox it somehow got rid of the scientific classification you entered. I am so sorry about this. Could you please reenter this information to make the taxobox right again? Thank you. Missymary100 (talk) 17:30, 13 August 2018 (UTC) missymary100
- No bother, it's an easy enough fix, definitely worth having the image! DrawingDinosaurs (talk) 17:37, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
Your edit to taxonomy template
editRe your recent edit to Template:Taxonomy/Heracles, I had actually meant to move the article at Heracles inexpectatus to Heracles, as is normal for both monotypic genera and extinct genera, but I got distracted. Thoughts? Peter coxhead (talk) 14:05, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
- Seems like Elmidae has already taken care of that in the interim before I could get back to you, but in any case of I would have agreed with going ahead with that. My edit to Template:Taxonomy/Heracles was just a quick fix done to avoid a self-link in the Speciesbox for the time being. DrawingDinosaurs (talk | contribs) 18:12, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
- Actually, I would have been wrong, because the genus Heracles would have needed to be disambiguated, so the article should be at the species name, as per WP:MONOTYPICFAUNA. Peter coxhead (talk) 07:34, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
- Huh, I figured "Heracles (bird)" or "Heracles (genus)" would have been an alright disambiguation, but if WP:MONOTYPICFAUNA says it needs to be the species then I guess policy is policy. The more you know, eh? DrawingDinosaurs (talk | contribs) 16:41, 9 August 2019 (UTC)

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Gordodon you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Dunkleosteus77 -- Dunkleosteus77 (talk) 22:41, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
The article Gordodon you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Gordodon for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Gordodon
editHi Drawing Dinosaurs: Just in case the ping didn't work properly on the DYK nom, I'm dropping this here to ask you to check in there please! :) MeegsC (talk) 17:39, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
Your signature
editHi. I noticed a problem with your signature here. Note that part of your signature is not displayed; furthermore, if anyone had left comments below yours, those comments would not have been displayed either. To make your signature safe for use in templates (such as DYK nominations), you can fix it in your preferences by replacing the |
between your "talk" and "contribs" links with |
. (The other |
s, used for pipes, are fine and should be left as is.) Your signature will look exactly the same, and will function correctly everywhere, including on templates. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 20:10, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
- Much obliged, hopefully that's fixed any issues. DrawingDinosaurs (talk | contribs) 21:44, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
- Looks good. Thanks for taking care of it. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 21:52, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
DYK for Gordodon
editOn 24 April 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Gordodon, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the only known fossil of Gordodon (pictured) had its skull accidentally sawed in half while it was being excavated? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Gordodon. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Gordodon), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
I found another instance of that guys shit
edithttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Taxonomy/Maniraptora, he is being a dick, what should we do? I think he is this user (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:4444hhhh#Chimps_and_Human_Evolution)--Bubblesorg (talk) 16:38, 6 July 2021 (UTC)
- I echo what Fanboyphilospher has said over on Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Dinosaurs, I don't see any reason to accuse 4444hhhh of sockpuppeting and vandalising at this time. DrawingDinosaurs (talk | contribs) 18:29, 6 July 2021 (UTC)

Galechiridae
editHi DrawingDinosaurs, you created Galechiridae as a redirect to Dromasauria, but the family is not mentioned on the target page. As the genus Galechirus is mentioned on that page, it seem likely to be a valid redirect, but could be confusing for the ordinary reader. Could you provide some evidence for this redirect, such as updating Dromosauria to show how Galechiridae fits into the group? Cheers, · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 13:40, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Peter, it was my intention at the time when I made the Galechiridae redirect to update and expand Dromasauria, though unfortunately real life has gotten in the way. I do intend to come back and finish an expansion (I've got an unfinished draft saved), but in the meantime I can add a sentence or a few that provides more context for Galechiridae on the page. Hope that's satisfactory. Cheers, DrawingDinosaurs (talk | contribs) 16:42, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
