Orphaned non-free image (File:Back To The Problem.jpg)
editThanks for uploading File:Back To The Problem.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 02:53, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
Any reason why you did this? Are you aware of WP:TALKO? --NeilN talk ♦ contribs 21:10, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
My apologies, I am out of line for doing that. I deleted the other discussions because they were either old and no longer relevant, or had been resolved. --DroKIDCASH (talk) 21:19, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- In that case, we archive talk pages. I'll do that for you. --NeilN talk ♦ contribs 21:22, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
Thank you very much, I am semi-new to wikipedia and not very experienced yet. I do not mean to offend anyone. If you are interested in editing Cassidy's page, or are you simply passing by to make sure I wasn't causing trouble? --DroKIDCASH (talk) 21:27, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- The Cassidy article is on my watchlist because I reverted some vandalism done to it earlier. I saw you removed a lot of content from the talk page (that typically doesn't happen) and wanted to make sure that either a) you were reverting stuff that shouldn't be there or b) archiving the content. If you have any questions about editing just ask away here or on my talk page. --NeilN talk ♦ contribs 21:36, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
References
editYep, I understand. You put: <ref>[http://www.somelink.com/somepage.html Name of reference]</ref> --NeilN talk ♦ contribs 21:54, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
Note that's the easy way to do it. There are fancier formats like "cite web" but the majority of editors stick to the basics. --NeilN talk ♦ contribs 21:58, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
Hey there DroKIDCASH, thank you for your contributions! I am a bot alerting you that Non-free files are not allowed in the user or talk-space. I removed some images that I found on User:DroKIDCASH/Apply Pressure. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use images to your user-space drafts or your talk page. See a log of images removed today here, shutoff the bot here and report errors here. Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 05:05, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
The article Apply Pressure has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Per WP:MUSIC, mixtapes are generally not notable.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SummerPhD (talk) 23:24, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
