Georgia Tech colors
edit"Tech gold" is just a branding name with Adidas. Their colors are still Old hold and white, per their website media guides... which is what we go by. My recommendation is to start a discussion on the main athletics article talk page if you disagree. Corky 21:10, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
I added my proposal to this page. Droidman1231 (talk) 22:12, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry, I forgot to leave an updated message here. I ended up contacting the athletics media relations dept. and they confirmed it was officially changed to Tech gold. I have made the change so it automatically displays, replacing Old gold in the infoboxes. In my defense, I've put many hours in updating colors and logos for NCAA schools and so many times editors want to use the branding name rather than the official school name. Sorry for the confusion. - Nah you're good, thanks for looking into it and checking with the athletic department officially. While I like the rebranding overall, a part of me is sad to see Old Gold and Buzz's Converse go. The price of progress I guess :/ Droidman1231 (talk) 01:09, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:18, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
