Minor edits

Hi Druidpeakpack. Thanks for your edits all about organism speed. I tend to agree with you that many of the numbers are highly questionable so searching for reliable evidence is worthwhile. Just a quick note that most of your edits should not be marked as minor - this is usually for small punctuation/spelling changes, rather than addition or deletion of references or changes to actual figures. Lichen

Hi Druid: Can you please further explain this edit? You've removed a sourced bit of information without really explaining why. MeegsC (talk) 18:54, 17 January 2024 (UTC)

Sure no problem. I tought my explanation in the edit was sufficient. I removed it as it contradicts what was discussed in "Evolution and paleontology", where the same source is mentioned and subsequently questioned by other studies. I therefore thought it more appropriate to leave this information where context is given right after and remove it where it is erroneously stated as fact. Great! Thanks for the expanded explanation. We (in the fairly new lichen task force) are in the process of completely rewriting the article, and it's good to know what readers are finding problematic with the current one. MeegsC (talk) 20:20, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
