- Yes, and I don't appreciate being listed as a "vandal" simply because you personally disagree with my political views. I'm not trying to remove any criticism of Thompson. However, I feel that he should be given fair treatment, which ought to include presenting both sides of each argument on the "controversies" page.Dtoler 18:49, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
The vandal is a template to show your edits, take it up at the template. How did you learn how to sign your user name and advanced use of the tags? C56C 18:52, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
- From the instructions at the bottom of every page where it says "Sign your username".Dtoler 18:55, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
- You are one of the few to actually read that with your first ever edit page, and at the same time cite policy. It looks strange when new users immediately hop into controversial subjects with the ability to do that. I hope you can admit that. Welcome to wikipedia. C56C 19:00, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
- That, I will admit. I also have a little bit of experience with computers, computer languages, and generally enjoy picking up bits of code. I've also been a regular READER of Wikipedia since about 2 years ago when I started a job with lots of downtime. Hence, I know how things are supposed to look, even if I have to learn how to write them properly. Thanks for the welcome, and sorry if I said anything that sounded personal.Dtoler 19:05, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
