Image tagging for File:Nationaledgedaaaypicture.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Nationaledgedaaaypicture.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thanks for uploading File:Sxeshow.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

File source problem with File:2000sdecade.jpg

edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:2000sdecade.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 14:45, 18 July 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 14:45, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Haveheartedgeday.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILY (TALK) 20:27, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Digital watermarks

edit

Thank you for uploading a picture for the Have Heart page. Unfortunately your picture had a digital watermark in the corner, which is in direct violation of wikipedia policies. I encourage you to upload the original unedited picture or crop the watermark off. Freikorp (talk) 23:40, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Brokencyde

edit

Here we have you, putting in a bunch of original research about some Facebook group. Here we have a user, Xrayx1, whose only edit was a request to insert that very information. He was told it would not be appropriate to add, and accordingly, I have removed it. Are you Xrayx1? Şłџğģő 20:12, 3 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Enough with the vandalism

This is the only warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Brokencyde, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. —C.Fred (talk) 15:22, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Haveheartedgeday.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Haveheartedgeday.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude2 (talk) 03:53, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
