Spoliers

Some years ago, after a long and contentious debate, the Wikipedia community decided that we would no longer withhold information that would "spoil" things for our readers -- up until that time, film plots, for instance, were labelled with "spoiler" tags. I was originally on the other side of that debate, but I have now decided that the community's decision was correct. We are an encyclopedia, a project which provides information, not one which censors it from the readers. There are numerous sources which will tease the reader without actually giving them all the available information, and anyone who wants to can go to those sites. When they come here, whether they're looking up particle physics or the plot of Bambi, we give them all the information that's available that can be supported by reliable sources. Given that, I have reverted your edits to Tokyo Ravens, and I ask that you not restore them again. Beyond My Ken (talk) 08:57, 6 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
