editHello, I'm TheTechie. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, IPad Pro (7th generation), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. And most importantly, do not use canned edit summaries which are not representative of what you did. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 18:08, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
- @TheTechie What are canned edit summaries? I wanted to use "apple.com" as my citation but I was worried its a broad web page and doesn't cover only the iPad, even in the iPad subsection... Dulton100 (talk) 17:25, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry, please ignore the part about the canned edit summary, but you did add a sentence to the lead without a citation. Please take care to cite your sources next time (that said, please don't also do citation overkill). thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 23:59, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
- @TheTechie Thanks, sorry for the talk page. Dulton100 (talk) 09:17, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!
editThe Anti-Vandalism Barnstar | |
Your anti-vandalism work is appreciated, so I'm giving you a barnstar (I almost never give them). Good work so far. If you wish to learn, please check out the CVUA. I strongly recommend using tools such as Twinkle and Ultraviolet, which give you access to a plethora of anti-vandalism tools and templates. Happy editing! thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 00:22, 25 May 2024 (UTC) |
- @TheTechie if only there was a way you could explain: what and how to use the barnstar, what is twinkle and ultraviolet and their uses. Or you could show me a Wikipedia article on them... Dulton100 (talk) 06:56, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- The barnstar is when someone does exceptional work.
- The words "Twinkle" and "Ultraviolet" are links. Click them to get more info.
