Dear Editor, I only learned how to submit to Wikipedia on 1st January 2017. My submission seems to have lasted only one minute (? 16.19 to 16.20?). That must be a record. I thought all I wrote was relevant to Iona. It was all backed up by references. Where did I go wrong? I would be grateful for any advice. Best wishes Dunardry Dunardry (talk) 10:40, 2 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 20:11, 2 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
