Regarding "Nightmare Cops" and source attribution.

edit

Hey there!

I'm looking over your article for Nightmare Cops and I'm very impressed with it. I think it fits the criteria for a good short article, and I don't find any sort of puffery or other language that suggests a conflict of interest. (Which is very surprising, considering how much I see you on Newgrounds.)

Commendations aside, I'm wondering if I should attribute the sources listed in the article to their respective authors (i.e. attributing a link by user TomFulp as Fulp, Tom.) I'm conflicted as I can't find anything on the Manual of Style about it, but I'm worried that it might look redundant on such a small article as this.

Of course, I've been taught to be WP:BOLD and just "do it", but I'm just asking your thoughts on the matter.

I think that could look good, I'd say if you think it looks good then go for it! Thank you so much!
And yeah, my thought process has been, if my involvement with Newgrounds stuff ever reached "close connections with the subject" territory, I would raise my hands and step away from future edits on NG related articles :P Dungeonation (talk) 02:50, 31 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
