Hello
editThanks for raising your concerns at ANI. I wonder on what basis you think I should be blocked? Have I not explained the situation to you entirely clearly? Please do explain... Nouse4aname (talk) 15:23, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Copyright issues are far from a smoke screen. As had been established at numerous discussions, that you decided to ignore, the use of any flag for Ireland broke either copyright violation policy or original research policy. Although perhaps a little OTT to be concerned with the IRFU suing wikipedia for use of a copyrighted flag, the policy is there for a reason and there can be no exceptions. As for removing all flags, this was hardly a valid option. Why remove flags for all countries because of a problem with a flag for one country? The wide ranging implications of such a move would be massive, with flags having to be removed from hundreds of rugby-related articles, and possibly extended to all other sports, all because there is no suitable flag for Ireland. This idea was widely rejected long ago. As for an apology, I'm afraid you are misguided in believing I have anything to apologise for. You continued to ignore policy, consensus and discussion, and then had the nerve to report my actions to ANI and the edit warring notice boards. I directed you to discussion several times, as did various other editors, and yet you felt it appropriate to report me, and now expect some form of apology? Interesting. - Right, you're making no sense. I was not angry and still am not angry. Confused, yes. Angry, no. I explained time and again and you ignored it. There is no reason for me to apologise, so I'm afraid you'll be waiting a while. That is all I will say on the subject. Nouse4aname (talk) 09:03, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

ANI archives
editHey, just an FYI, once a discussion is archived, it's over, so please don't add additional comments after the fact. If you wish to continue the discussion after it's over, you'll need to start it over or continue it at another location. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 12:30, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
- Would you mind explaining what you're intention of the addition of "rooster" was in your comment to me? Jauerbackdude?/dude. 02:05, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
- Since you've decided not to clarify, I'm going with my assumption that it was meant as a personal attack. Please refrain from attacking others. I'm sure that you know that's frowned up pretty much everywhere, including at Wikipedia. Thanks. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 03:14, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
