Duoble 07, you are invited to the Teahouse!
editHi Duoble 07! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. We hope to see you there!

@Zzuuzz: It's been more than 6 months since I've edited Wikipedia. I was told I'm allowed to keep editing after 6 months, either with the same account or with a new one (and I forgot the password to Willschmut). So why was I blocked? Duoble 07 (talk) 20:49, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Willschmut/Archive would disagree with the timing. However, see Wikipedia:Standard offer. Have a good read. -- zzuuzz (talk) 21:25, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
- @Zzuuzz: That's a good offer, I'll take it. So most of those accounts were not confirmed as mine, and I've never made any spam edits since 2017. So how does this work? Do I get unblocked now by promising not to do it again? Duoble 07 (talk) 21:39, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
- I did invite you to have a good read. I'm sure your comprehension is up to it. Also, Special:Contributions/Use_R._Name_Jr. -- zzuuzz (talk) 21:41, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
- @Zzuuzz: Naturally, that'd depend on your definition of "block evasion". I did not repeat the behaviour that got me blocked, so shall it then really be treated as a form of "evasion"? I invite you to check my contributions and determine whether they're useful or not. I do not wish to wait another six months simply because of bureaucratic interpretations of the standard offer (which BTW implies the existence of other offers as well). - WP:SOCK is fairly clear. What you want doesn't really come into it. Neither does the question of whether you are a vandal or violating other community policies. Who knows if you'll be able to convince anyone to unblock you before the six months is up. HTH. -- zzuuzz (talk) 21:58, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) No admin or checkuser will consider unblocking your account until you demonstrate that you can abide by the barest minimum standard of appeal for serial sockmasters (i.e. the standard offer); that is, no edits by accounts created or controlled by you or while logged-out for at least six months. Talk page access revoked.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:59, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
